    Meta Injection Molding Door Parts MIM Process

    The MIM process begins with the preparation of a feedstock by mixing fine metal powders with a binder material. Simultaneously, a mold is created to shape the final product. The feedstock is then injected into the mold and allowed to solidify. Following solidification, the binder removal process begins, which typically involves multiple cycles to ensure thorough removal. Once debinding is complete, the part becomes semi-porous, facilitating the escape of secondary binders during the sintering process. Sintering is the final step, ensuring the desired wall thickness, geometry, material composition, and physical properties of the products. The MIM process enables efficient production of high volumes of products.
