Which parts could be made by MIM

Metal powder injection molding can make many parts. Currently, it is widely used in handicrafts, clothing accessories, industrial products, mechanical structure bearing seats, connecting rod cams, mobile phone accessories, lock accessories, mechanical accessories, pneumatic and electric tool parts, and grinding cores.

Not all products are suitable for using MIM technology. 

Let's take a look at what situations you can consider using MIM technology when designing products:

1. Parts have complex geometric shapes or mechanisms, which are generally difficult to produce using traditional techniques or have high production costs.

2. The weight of the parts is less than 100g (due to cost considerations, as MIM raw materials are more expensive).

3. The wall thickness of the parts is relatively thin and has high strength requirements, which cannot be completed by general PM or precision casting processes.
